Helium Friend #0 - #4 HELIUM FRIENDS offer a high strength-to-weight ratio and Wild Country's reknown 13.75 degree constant cam angle - for trusty strong placements throughout the entire range. HELIUM FRIENDS have a narrow profile & thin, flexible cable stem which allows them to slip into tight spots - like pockets and constricting cracks - which make the best placements for any nut or cam. Stability and resistance to walking deeper in (or out of) the crack is also enchanced by carefully balanced spring tension and incremental increases in cam head width for each size. HELIUM FRIENDS are lighter and have greater overlap between sizes. Count on smooth "even pull" trigger operation, high-quality workmanship and proven performance. |
Zero Friend #3 - #6 Wild Country Zeros take cam sizes smaller than has ever been possible. Six sizes start at a miniscule .22" (5.5 mm). This ultra small cam dimension is achieved by using a new, compact, patent pending Direct Loading Axle™ which combines termination and axle in one unit, allowing the cams to operate without the hindrance of bulky conventional assembly. Direct Loading Axle™ allows cams down to a crack width of 5.5 mm. Flexi-stem™ system permits the most extreme cam placements. Guided Trigger™ system allows total control of the cam head. Six sizes - Z1 through Z6 are color coded and include new 10 mm Dyneema™ double loop fast extending sling. Incredibly light weight, the Z1 weighs a mere 1 oz. including sling - lighter than most wiregate carabiners! **Sizes Z1 and Z2 rated for aid only.** |

Tech Friend #00 - #6 With a flexible cable stem and smooth trigger performance, Wild Country® Technical Friends snake into tight placements with speed and ease. |

Mini Rocks on Wire #00 - #0.75 Especially useful for the skinniest of thin cracks and seams these are essential kit for those pushing their grade and moving up to HVS/E1 or 5.8/5.9+ who will start to find themselves in more difficult territory. |
Rock on Wire #1 - #14 These ultra-stylish units will give an extra dimension to any rack making selection and placement faster and better than ever. |
Superlight Rock on Wire As can be gathered from these exceptional reviews, Superlight Rocks are another breakthrough innovation by Wild Country. These brilliantly versatile nuts utilise two existing technologies: the extrusion from the bestselling Rock with the soldered sleeve from the Zeros, to create a light hybrid unit. Designed to complement any rack by combining extreme light weight with a wide range of placements; their reduced width means they will fit in places where current wider nuts won’t and grab shallow placements and pinscars brilliantly. |
Rockcentrics #3 - #9 The Hex angles allow for 4 separate types of placement within the same unit. The curve and taper of the Rock shape allows for easier placements and removal, plus greater contact in many previously questionable placements. Pre-slung on Dyneema webbing. |
Pro-Key Nut Key The Pro-key is our completely new nut key. With a host of great features (including our new leash) to make it easier to help you free-up your 'too-expensive to leave behind' rack of shiny beauties. |
Quickdraws |
Wild Wire Quickdraw Wild-wire QDs come in three lengths 10cm 4” / 15cm 6” / 20cm 8”and all on our classic 12mm Dyneema express slings (with Tadpole) which keep the bottom unit solidly held in the correct orientation. This was the first pair of krabs to get Wild Country's distinctive colourway of silver top and red bottom to define the clipping end against the bolt end. A practice we have continued to date as it allows the climber to make sure they keep any rough edges from bolt clipping away from the rope... |
Oxygen Quickdraw The Oxygen QD makes a great all round unit. It's high strength combination of features, especially the easy clipping Keylock nose, mean it performs superbly across a variety of situations especially repoints. |
Nitro Quickdraw The Nitro is a beauty - a full size lightweight biner with a superb feel and pitch perfect performance. |

Helium wire gate When the Helium concept was initially launched a major focus was to make a wire gate but with none of the traditional drawbacks a wire has; that they can hook up on bolts or wires, can unclip more easily than snap gates, and are susceptible to opening if lying against the rock. |
Oxygen plain gate or bent gate A top selling biner over the last few years, the very successful Oxygen gets our new Keylock nose and a more shapely finish for a better feel. |
Titan screwgate Making this easy clipper even smoother and enhancing its all around status as the best basic biner available, the original Titan gets a Keylock nose. |
Oxygen screwgate Sporting a Keylock nose as well as hot forged functionality this is a real high strength workhorse and has a place on most racks. |

Synergy HMS Made from 12mm round bar stock means that the Synergy is a true HMS, and this means that this unit is highly recommended for all belaying jobs as the round bar helps the rope run more smoothly. |

VC Pro 2 The VC Pro 2 has a simple organic shape and ease of use that make this a modern belay device that is truly confidence inspiring. |
VC - Variable Controller The Variable Controller's narrow slots combine with the narrow side of the wedge to force the ropes into a tight 'S' bend controlling the rope smoothly and effectively particularly when rappelling with modern lightweight half and single ropes. Recommended Usage: 8.0 to 9.0mm double, 10.0 to 11.0mm single. |
Ropeman The lightest and most compact ascender available, the Ropeman by Wild Country performs brilliantly in crevasse rescue and haul bag systems, or as a backup in most rope work situations. Because it's so small, so light, and so inexpensive, there's no excuse to ever take it off your harness. Works on 10-11mm ropes. |
Ropeman MKII (Mini Ascender) The Ropeman Mark II by Wild Country is just as compact and nearly as lightweight as the original, however the durability and the ability to function on a broader range of rope diameters is available due to the new stainless steel cam. This new cam design replaces the ridges of the alloy cam with conical pins in order to function on smaller diameter ropes. It's destined to become an essential piece of gear on every mountain adventure. Works on 8.5-11mm ropes. |

Vision Kids You can’t wrap kids in cotton wool – but you can wrap them pretty securely in this superb full body model. The two problems with putting smaller children in climbing harnesses is that they are very top heavy and have very thin waists. This first problem means that they are likely to tip upside down if they fall off, while the second means that if they do tip, they can fall out of the harnesses. Designed to take kids up to 40kg (and most likely in the age range 4 - 10) this fully adjustable model helps solve those problems by being a full body harness which grips over the shoulders and keeps the tie in point higher to avoid tipping. The Vision Kids has Ziplock buckles for simple quick and safe adjustment, more padding than most, and a great colour scheme to encourage the little bears in your life to get going. One size. |

Elite Ultralite With its radical shaping and light weight, the Elite Ultralite was created to become our ‘piece de resistance’ for the avid sports climber or traditionalist who really wants to shed the pounds. |
Syncro Ziplock A modern classic, and always subject to rave reviews the Syncro carries its hardcore credentials well and though it gets a new look its feel and features back it up as a great multi-featured and multi-faceted all rounder. It also retains the ‘beefy’ approach that makes it a superb load carrier and a great all season tool. Incredibly if anything, a new 'double back pad' has actually added support and in a clever way; with a full strength, clippable section - great for winter belays |
Helmets |

Cordelette 10mm x 400cm The 4 metre / 17ft Cordellette should be long enough in most circumstances to clip through multiple anchor points and still allow an overhand knot to be used to equalise the pieces whilst allowing the belayer to clip the knot. |
10mm Dyneema Sling 10mm x 10cm In only a few short years it is now the market leader, something which was not anticipated at the time of its release. What this seems to show is that climbers are willing to embrace new technology which is seen to give an instant and understandable advantage, and that dropping weight is the area which everyone understands. Simply if your rack is lighter, and your gear is the same strength, it should be easier to climb better. |
12mm Dyneema Sling 12mm x 10cm However, difficult to produce at the time, combining dyneema and nylon in a weave that was predictable and reliable enough to give the ‘sewability’ required to make the three sigma target every time 12mm dyneema was first sold in 1999 and was both hailed as radical, as well as unfeasibly thin when first marketed. Indeed at first there were many sceptics who felt it was too thin and wouldn’t appeal to a public that was still mainly hooked on 19mm nylon. |
16mm Dyneema Sling 16mm x 60cm Different materials have their advantages and disadvantages and Nylon tapes have a solidity and reliability second to none, with a longevity that will, in the main, outlast the thinner Dyneema tapes. Most obvious in these advantages is that the greater surface area will be more difficult to wear or abrade and therefore in the roughest situations, or over sharp edges, they will have more resistance. |
